Alphabet Inc. is a publicly listed US holding company based in Mountain View, Silicon Valley. It was created in October 2015 through a restructuring of Google and became the parent company of Google LLC and various former subsidiaries of Google. Alphabet Inc. is led by Sundar Pichai as CEO.

History
The parent company was founded as part of the restructuring of Google, which was first announced on August 10, 2015. The existing shares of Google were automatically converted into Alphabet shares at a ratio of 1: 1, the share abbreviations will continue to be referred to as GOOGLE or GOOG.
Since October 2nd, 2015, Google LLC has been a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc. The core business of Internet services will retain the name Google. The previous Google boss Larry Page is moving to the head of the newly created holding company with Sergey Brin. Google LLC, on the other hand, runs Sundar Pichai.
